We had a wonderful tour at Skadar Lake with Milan! We enjoyed the small boat for three hours; we entered parts of the lake where big boats cannot enter very slowly, and at full speed we could cross the lake quite fast, so we could see a lot. Milan told us everything about the lake, its surroundings and its wildlife. Especially the Amazon part is amazing! It turned out we are all birdwatchers after all, and we were quite excited to see three kingfishers in a row! We finished the trip on a beautiful small beach where we could take a swim. Thank you, Milan, for taking such good care and also for keeping two stubborn little passengers interested, who actually just wanted to swim! ;)

Could not have been better. Milan puts everything into his tour; he’s not at all jaded. The most lovely, friendly, interesting, kind man who gave the best advice and spoke fantastic English. He helped us with arrangements and advice for other elements of our trip. He told us all about what we were seeing as we went along. He managed to avoid the August crowds, and we saw such stunning parts of the lake. He walked us up a small hill to a beautiful viewpoint, we swam, and we ate delicious Montenegrin doughnuts and cheese made by his family. We are so grateful to Milan for making our visit so special. Could not have been better.

The boat tour of Lake Skadar with Milan was an experience we will always remember. That can be attributed to Milan, the best captain one could ask for! Absolutely recommend booking through him. We particularly recommend a sunrise boat tour. Milan is very passionate about the lake and its history, as well as the many birds that live on it. We saw lots of rare kingfishers and learnt how to spot them from afar. Milan even took us to pick some water chestnuts, which was fantastic! If you're in Virpazar, booking a boat tour of the lake is an absolute must. In addition, I highly recommend booking here. Milan's English was fantastic, and his enthusiasm for what he does really shines through.

We took a private boat tour with Milan, and it was really great, despite a bit of cold weather in October. Milan is very friendly and talkative and loves sharing the information and his passion for the lake, and with the speedboat, he took us around places even more distant from Virpazar. The boat tour was definitely our best experience during stay at Skadar Lake, fully worth the price :)
